Bonekickers
So there seems to be a new show in town, with the dubious title of Bonekickers. 1x01 aired on the 8th of July, and good little British TV fangirl that I am, of course I investigated.
I'd read a ton of posts about how bad this show was going to be, so maybe that's why I enjoyed it - I had no expectations. And since the premise did involve Indiana Jones, I actually think they didn't do such a bad job. There were crusaders, there was random religious stuff, there was cheesy unrealistic archeology, there was lame dialogue, there was in-your-face symbolism, there was the kick-ass female, the young apt student, the quiet love interest for the kick-ass female and the old guy functioning as comic relief and info provider, and in the end it all burned to the ground. No surprises, but not all that terrible, either. I wasn't quite okay with how the bad guy and one of his minions ended up, but then, I'm spoiled from Doctor Who.
All in all, lol archeology. Bring on the next part.
