FRASE! Course I like him. Who wouldn't? He's honest, gorgeous, nice, good-looking, fun to be around, real eye-candy, and, oh, did I mention that he's reeelly pretty? xD
2) Is he/she important to the general plot?
I'd say he is, yeah, considering that the show is about him ;).
3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally?
Fraser in Victoria's Secret? SO SAD OMG. And in Call of the Wild. So, yeah, I guess I can relate to him. Even though I can relate better to Ray K, but I guess most people feel that way (Fraser's just too perfect to compare yourself to him! :D).
4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from?
Due South is one of the nicest fandoms out there. Long, brilliant fic, lots and lots of porn, nice people, almost never any wank, great organization... it's really comfortable in the Due South corner of fandom.
5) Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by their relationship with any other character(s)? (romance-wise or platonic)
Fraser goes with Ray K. That's a given. THAT'S CANON! (almost) ;)
I don't hate Ray V though. Ray V is nice, too. He's not gay, though, so he can marry Stella. Lol ;).
6) Is there anything about the character you would change?
Phew... I might make him less self-righteous. But then he'd have no faults at all and would become really, really creepy. So, no, leave him as he is, lol ;).
7) If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how do you see yourself interacting with him/her? (Would you get along well? Fall in love with? Dislike? Friendly rivalry? etc etc)
I don't know if I would get along with Fraser. He's into nature, which I am NOT, and he is all about moral and work and ethics, which I'm not so much, either (at least not the way he is). I'm sure he'd be interesting to chat with, though, and, well, there's the fact that he's very nice to look at. So all he had to do, really, was stand there ;).
8) Does this character make the cut as one of your all time favorites (if you like) or least favorites?
I think so. I love Due South for its batshit craziness, and Fraser is the main character. So, yeah, I think he does make the top ten.
9) Would you hype up this character (if you like) or warn about (if you dislike) to someone whose new to the fandom?
Lol, yeah, I would. I mean, the show is about him.
10) Is this character popular with the fanbase?
I'd say he is! He was in every fic I read xD.
