The correct answer would be absolutely bloody nothing, because I've been in the lockup for almost a year and a half.
God's blood I need to be drunk. No one should have to be sober for a year and a half straight, particularly not me. Drink, shower, shave... I'm no closer to knowing who I was then before, but setting things in order comes first. At least they made sure I didn't lose the place. If anyone thinks that means I'm grateful, they're dead wrong. They did it for that, to try to con me into feeling that I owe them something after they punished me for trying to take back what should rightfully be mine.
What a mess.
I'm off to a date with Glenlivet.
