Trying to make sense of insanity is pointless
"Daddy! You know the most amazing rockstar to ever live is here in Long Beach right?"Danielle asked, trying to sound sweet but failing.
"What? Chris Jericho's band is here?"
"NO! MINDY! AS IN MINDY STRATUS! Please can we go and see her?"Danielle asked, her big eyes looking up at him. Mindy Stratus was an international rockstar and Danielle looked up to her as a role model.
"As long as we go together and you keep Daniel stuck to your side."Danielle rolled her eyes and sighed before, albeit reluctantly, agreeing silently.

Danielle clutched to her Mindy album as she sat in the front of Mercedes' car.
"Oh my god, I'm going to meet Mindy!"Danielle said, the entire situation dawning on her fast. She had been in love with Mindy after her mom got her the demo CD for her birthday back when she was 12.
"WE KNOW! You've said the same thing for over an hour now."Daniel said, he was sat at the back with Wayne and Nico, Nico refused to go anywhere else without Mercedes so he was sat in his car seat, staring out the window, his eyes empty as he zoned out, used to long journeys.
Danielle went silent and stared at the floor, Mercedes sighed and looked at Daniel.
"She's been looking forward to this for over three years now, you could be considerate considering the fact we've had to move over six times within the past year because you can't stop blowing shit up. So shut the fuck up and deal with it."Mercedes snapped and Daniel went a bright crimson colour, not used to being snapped at by his older sister.
They parked up outside the building, Wayne and Daniel got out and the younger boy apologized to his twin, begging her for forgiveness.
"Fine, I forgive you, but shout at me like that again and I will decorate the house with all your organs for Christmas."Daniel paled and nodded as his twin smirked and bounced out of the car. "Good boy."
Mercedes went to get Nico out and Nico looked up at her.
"How come you don't have a baby?"Nico asked and Mercedes' eyes watered as he asked her the question of a lifetime.
-Flashback-
"I'm sorry Mr and Mrs Whitman, Mercedes will have to have an operation to remove her reproductive organs. The infection has spread and if she carried a child she'd die."Doctor Lynn said, her eyes full of sympathy as the teenager in question looked down at her body, crying silently. "I'll leave you three alone."The Doctor said softly and left the room.
"Catch that cunt, I want him alive and in the basement when I get home."Mercedes' voice was cold, emotionless and very flat. Zara and Wyatt left, starting the hunt for the man who gave her the infection.
Mercedes lay down on the bed and rolled up in a circle, not able to stop the shaking as she let the tears of anguish and pain roll down her face. She got out her phone and put on 'My Immortal', letting Mindy's voice wash over her as she cried, the tears rolling down her face.
-End of Flashback-
"Well Nico, sometimes bad things happen and I'm unable to have a baby."Nico nodded and walked over to join his dad, missing the tears falling from Mercedes' eyes and splashing to the concrete. She wiped her eyes and went to join everyone else, not looking at her mom or dad in fear they'd know what was going through her head.

It was the end of the gig and Mercedes, Wyatt, William, Zara, Danielle, Daniel, Wayne, Gemma, Ryan (The 12 year old McFerris), Nico (in Mercedes' arms), Sophie, Natalya Brianna, Harry and Uriel were stood in the line to meet Mindy.
They got to her and as soon as Danielle laid eyes on her she burst into tears and held to Daniel.
"Oh my god, she's here in front of me!"Danielle wailed as Wyatt took the CD case off his daughter and gave it to Mindy.
"Who is it for?"Mindy asked, causing Danielle to cry even harder.
"Danielle."Wyatt said for his daughter, the girl was crying hard as she tried to calm down.
"Danielle. Best Wishes, Love Mindy."Mindy said along as she signed the CD cover. She handed it back to Wyatt and just as she did she spotted the hunting knife in Danielle's pocket. Looking at Wyatt she gasped. "You're the Whitmans?"She asked, her eyes wide with shock.
Wyatt smirked and nodded before leaning forward.
"Tell anyone you saw us I'll kill you myself."He then walked off, the families close behind him. Mindy was trapped, The Whitmans were the most prolific serial killers of all time and she had the chance to get in on the reward but then again it would be useful to have them on her side.
"I'll get you whatever you want!"She screamed out in desperation, her eyes wild with horror and amazement at what she just said.
Mercedes turned and smirked before walking over.
"You can do that? Really? Well, why don't you join us?"She purred, her left eyebrow raised. "I know you have a family and we can protect them. I have visions so if you even try to fuck us over I'll know about it and I'll fuck you up."She added before turning and walking away.
Wyatt slung his arm around his daughters' shoulder.
"Think we should pay a certain rattlesnake a visit?"Mercedes smirked and looked up.
"Since when have I ever turned down an offer of free beer and good food?"She asked before they turned around to face the rest of the group.
"Home then to Victoria, Texas. We have a rattlesnake to pounce on."Mercedes shouted before climbing into her car, driving towards home with one thing on her mind 'I hope Daniel doesn't blow anything up again.'
