Even though a big deal is made about trust and mutuality and such, the show pretty much goes with Barnaby relying on Kotetsu, without much of the other way around. Barnaby even only learned about his waning powers at the last possible minute because Kotetsu was totally willing to put his own life on hold to help him with his problems.

So, Kotetsu relying on Barnaby, post-series, preferably emotionally (though I do like me some beat-up Kotetsu, ahem). Learning to be vulnerable.

I may take a crack at this, but... I'd like to hear what OP!Anon would prefer: that Kotetsu and Barnaby been in-touch during the time-skip in episode 25, or not?

Whatever you find more convenient. If I had to choose, I'd say not in contact; there was a recent thing in one of the magazines that said Bunny pretty much withdrew in the year gap to deal with his memory/identity issues, along with his guilt for attacking Kotetsu.

Damn...I think the article was in the November or December issue of Animania? It was a translation posted on /a/ a few nights ago. It had a couple other neat little notes, too.
