Kotetsu attempts to bond with Kaede via watching My Little Pony. Kaede isn't impressed, but Kotetsu finds himself enchanted with it, to the point where he starts collecting ponies, posting on MLP boards, or whatever.

The rest is up to the writer, but one possible scenario that might be funny is if Kotetsu tries to hide this new obsession from everyone, only to find out that all the other heroes are also huge MLP fans.

Oh gods, he would be, wouldn't he. Either that or Pinkie Pie.

I'm also imagining Kotetsu trying to assign ponies to his fellow heroes.

Kotetsu: Hmm, Bunny can either be Rarity, because they're both prissy, or he can be Applejack, because they're both blonde. Ivan is obviously Fluttershy...

There is a strange wail from above them all, and then silence, save the rushing hiss of the rain. Kotetsu wonders if he's just not able to hear the chatter over the communicators. He's having trouble hearing Barnaby or even the canned echo of his own voice within his suit. "Nah. Hey. Did- Did Maive just have wings just now ( ... )

Pao Lin is staring a horse in the eye. Like many young girls, she has something of a penchant for horses, swordfighting, dramatic duels, the fanciful notion of racing across the countryside to battle in light leather armor with a sword at hand and a faithful steed beneath her, powerful muscles carrying them to her destination. She loves horses just as much as any girl.

But she knows that horses do not actually come in 'yellow'.

The horse whuffles softly, and Pao Lin reaches out a curious hand to touch the horse's nose.

"Oh!" cries the horse, and they both flinch back a little before trading mutual smiles, Pao Lin breathing a sigh of relief and trying to tamp down on her childlike wonder. A talking horse! A talking flying horse! An ( ... )
