Endless wondering...
The thought of joining the military has been passing through my mind for about the last couple years now. I don't want to join to kill people, or earn money for college, I want to join to have the experience.
I would join in order to not only see the world, but to do something different. Sure, I have every desire to be a part of this department in the future, but does it have to be right after college? Do I have to go right into the force once I recieve my degree?
Shit, I wouldn't join a real branch like the Army, and definetely not the Marines, I'm not that hardcore. I would join a pussy branch like the Air Force.
I hear about all these horror stories from people having to do crazy jobs and shit that would make me
want to shoot myself. I would enlist as an officer, go to flight school, and fly cargo planes around the world.
The only thing holding me back is the enlistment period, ten years. That's a bit much... Five years? I could do that. Ten? I'm going to have to think about that one for a while...
Clark County is nice and all, I can't think of any other place around here that I would rather live. But there is more I would like to see and do than hire out after graduation and patrol the county the rest of my life.
I don't know... This has been something that I have been thinking about off and on for a while now. Will I ever actually carry this idea out?
