chamber chorale tour + senior ball picutres
hello everyone! :D Man, it feels SO GOOD to be like, officially done with high school. well, basically. :) ahha i feel so FREEEeeee. :D *sigh* but yeah, i seriously just wanna give a big shout out to God for just blessing me so much this past year. for giving me such a supportive family, awesome friends, allowing for me to be accepted into UCSD, and just giving me such good health! i haven't gotten sick like this whole year! it's amazing! oh wait. jk. scratch that. I did like..once. but it was a slight cold. other than that! I've been pretty healthy this year thanks to Him. :D i also wanna thank Him for keeping my family safe, and for just continually providing for all of my needs. Man, He never ceases to amaze me. Seriously, like iIf there's one thing I've learned this past year, it's that I can trust Him to take care of the little things. And that I don't have to worry about college or finding a job this summer, or anything at all because I now know that He'll take care of it. That in the end, everything will eventually work out. I've gained such peace from finally realzing this truth. it's crazy. Another thing I learned this past year was to give God FULL control of my life. Not just SOME control. I don't know how to explain how free-ing it feels to just..give God the steering wheel to my life. I feel like a huge burden had been lifted from my shoulders, and that I can now concentrate on loving Him, spending time with Him in prayer and in His Word, and just getting to know him better as my Savior, my confidant, my friend, my King, and my Father. Since I'm not busy trying to control my own life anymore, I can make more time for Him. It's interesting, I found that recently, my favorite part of the day is when I'm taking my shower. haha, I konw it sounds wierd, but..that's actully the place where I do most of my thinking. I guess it's the only time that God feels that He can get my full attention. It's in my shower where I am able to cry out tears of pain, sing to the top of my lungs, and have real heart to heart conversations with My Lord and King. It's in the shower where I can tell God my intermost thoughts, and just pour out to Him everything that is on my mind. I feel like I can have the most intimate time with Him in there because the sound of the water just drowns out everything else so that I can just concentrate on talking and praying to Him. No distractions. Just me and Him. haha I can tell you right now, we've had some pretty hardcore / insightful / humbling conversations in that bathroom. And I've learned so much from every single one of them. Man, God is such a freaking cool guy. I love Him so much. And I can't thank Him enough for how much He has helped me grow this past year. haha ANYWAY. that was my little God shpeal. I didn't intend for it to turn into an essay. It was only supposed to be like..a sentence or two. haha I guess God has other plans! but yeah, what I REALLY wanted to do in this post was show pictures from the chamber chorale tour that i went on in mid-May and senior ball a week ago. Both were so much funnn. Alright, Brace yourself because there's A LOT of pictures. ALright, here goes! :) p.s. You guys have probably already read the schedule of tour from Andy Bai's lj, so I'm not going to go through it again. Cus I'm too lazy. hahah I'll just like write little captions and stuff. :) p.p.s. ignore the blurry pictures / the heecka long summary of senior ball. that's just for me so that i can go back and read this and remember what happend. :) CHAMBER CHORALE TOUR ok so tour was so much fun. man, you will not believe!! we got to sing at a whole bunch of high schools down in socal, as well as this little kid school, and some missions too. :D on wed we just practiced for like 3 hours. thursday we sang at some schools and went to go see the play, "Oliver"! that was soo good. :) and then on fri, we sang at a few missions, and went to solvang where we got KAZOODLES! hahah and then in the evening went to this shopping area where we at pizza for dinner and had coldstone for dessert! yummm :D we then headed on over to the theater to watch '"Mission Impossible 3"!! oh man. such a good movie. hecka action and stuff. and tom cruz! hahah ;) yeah, he's not that cute, but anyways. lol yeah. then on saturday, we went to mcdonald's to eat breakfast and then went to DISNEYLAND!! soo much fun. we had a hopper pass to CA adventures too, so that was pretty awesome. we went on hecka rides like space mountain! and all the other outnains expcept for splash, cus it was too late by the time we wanted to go on. and i got a cool jamaican mickey hat! hahha that was fun. we also sang chorale songs while we were waiting in line for rides! hahah and played our kazoos too. =P then we traveled all night by bus and got back to mission at around 8:30AM the next morning..on mother's day! hahah ok, here are some pictures, which is all you guys wanna see anyway. lol i'd be surprised if you actually read the above summary. if you did, mad props to you. seriously. :)

peer counseling banquet! on wednesday @ hometown buffet. hecka good food + bonding time. :D oh man. it was soo much fun!! so, the first thing we did was put on corsages and boutenniere (sp?) stuff outside of deanna's house. then we took HECKA pictures!! hahah the parents were seriously going sooo crazy! it was insane! i think my mouth was like..about to fall off. haha i started to just like, give fake smiles after awhile cus my mouth was so tired! haha anyways, after that, we split our group of 20 ppl into 2 groups so that there were 10 ppl in each limo. haha oh man, our limo ride to the restaurant was so much fun! we played the jello game, the sweet and sour game (hahah at first we didn't know that our windows were tinted! we were like, hmm we should wave and see ifi they can see us!) lol and then we started playing with all the buttons. we at first tired to open the sunroof, but it woudln't work! instead, we kept pushing buttons that turned on the air conditioning / the "mood" or all the lights / the window thing that separates us and the driver! hahah it was hilarious. we then arrived at the restaurant, Bucca di Beppo. it was such a cute little Italian place! aishling and i shared a fetticine alfredo. hahha ok i know i didn't spell that right. owell. =P oh! and it was so cute! ok so. for some reason, the girls kept seeing the guys like secretly talking to each other / passing a note around! we were like, "what the heck is going on?!?" hahah and before we knew it, mitty popped out a boom box, slipped in a CD, and had all the guys stand behind their dates! hahah at this point, all of us girls were like, "he theck?!" lol and then aishling's date was all like, "can everyone please be quiet?! thank you!" and they start singing "My Girl"!!!! hahaha aww it was SO SWEET! omgosh. all of us girls were cracking up sooo bad though cus they kept like messing up / singing out of tune / looking at the words really quickly! ahhaha it was hilarious. afterwards they got a huge applause from the whole restaurant. ahhah ok sooo after dinner, the girls head over to the bathroom for our "powdering" session. and we decide to do something for the guys. sooo we all stand behind our dates and bust out Mulan's: "I'll Make A Man Out of You!" ahahah we were hecka good too! we didn't even have to quiet down the audience! lol so yeah, we kinda killed the guys' song. but it was ok. we didn't even have to practice! ;) lol oh yeah! and we told the waitress it was dennis' birthday! (even though it wasn't!) hahahhha that was soo funny! he was so surprised and confused. lol! ok. so we leave the restaurant and head on over to the regency center where the ball was being held at. oh mann SF is so pretty at night! :DD so yeah, we get there at like 8:30 and no one's really there yet, so we get in line to take couple pictures. man, we musta been in that line for hecka days! it took freaking forever. seriously. like HALF the dance consisted of waiting in line for those stupid pictures. but yeah, it's all good cus alex, shauna, nitasha, alex, and I busted out our KAZOOS while we were waiting. hahah it was soo cool! we just like whipped it out of our purses! or..in alex's case, his pocket! hahah man, we were planning on finding each other at the prom by using our kazoos, but we found each other right away, so there was no need! :D so yeah, we take our couple pictures, and then RUSHED OUT to the dance floor, kicked off our shoes, and tried to make up for lost time. oh mann so much fun! i saw jen from irvington! and HOC3 people! ahha they are seriously the funniest ppl to dance with! they're hecka crazy! <3 but yeah, so after we're all sweaty and stuff, we grab a few pinnaples that are on skewers, and have a few strawberries from the chocoalte fountain! yummm. we then head on over to take our couple pictures! oh man. coat check was crazy. it turns out that the 2 asian ladies that were working at it were..frauds! hahah they like charged us all $2 to put our bags in there! the heck!!? yeah. so we all go jipped. but they thankfully got arrested. and no one got anything stolen...i don't think. =/ but YEAH. overall, hecka fun. I'm so glad i went. =DD hahah dennis took me home at like 1:30 cus i had church the next day, and after that, he went back to join everyone else to go glow bowling. but it ended up being closed, so they went to denny's instead. then they tried to go to wallmart? but it was closed? lol cus mitty thought it was open 24/7, but apparently it isn't. =P so yeah, at like 4/5 in the morning, they decide to head on over to ohlone to watch the sunrise, but the hills end up being in their way, so they just decide to call it a night and go home. =P OK! time for some picturessss :)
