I refer you to
Minna's post about the
Bodies exhibit and the new music we found. The exhibit was amazing- if it ever comes to an area near you, check it out.
On the music- Bill Holt's Dreamies- this is the first album I've purchased from iTunes in a long time. For awhile, I was using the now-deceased and pseudo-legal Allofmp3.com. It wasn't so much the price aspect (although $2 albums are awesome) but the lack of DRM. Recently, iTunes was selling special "iTunes Plus" tracks- slightly marked-up DRM free versions. This was tempting, but I couldn't justify the markup. I shouldn't pay more for what I should be getting in the first place! Fortunately, iTunes recently dropped the price of "Plus" tracks to that of their normal crippleware sales. Dreamies happened to be iTunes plus- so I jumped on that.
