While out 'n about, Minna and I stopped off to get some gelati at the Mulberry Creamery. Yummy stuff, but not the thrust of the story. The kid behind the counter was describing to some other customers his end goals after college.
He wants to go to Japan and open a wedding cake bakery. He will man the store dressed as a Victorian woman.
The fact that this would be in Japan makes it utterly normal and mundane. If he intended to do such a thing in England, then it would be weird. The Japan part makes the whole thing a seamless, sensible whole.
