Awww, I remember that I did 1sentence back in the day. I do believe I did Vincent/Veld for it, among other things. XD

Use 'Veld', Verdot sounds too formal. Cheat like I do, and make it like a nickname or a mispronunciation. *peer pressure*

And alright, I have to smile when I see someone else using the last name I made up for Veld. Funny thing was I was drunk as a skunk when I came up with it. XD But I think it sounds nice.

sentence 31 really just... breaks my heart a little. I clearly need to write more familyman!Veld stories. XD

I'd have more, but--get this--the real reason I ended up with two Veld arcs (it's all on my GJ I obsessively label everything) is because I started the first one before all the translations of BC were out. SO I didn't know he had a family and all of a sudden I had one... and ya.

Then I started the second one and Ifalna got in the mix and it got REALLY CRAZY (in the good way, I like to bend canon as much as I can) and I have yet to write his family in there. But there's room. I feel a little bad for his wife, though, at least he adores his daughter. XD

...Aaaand I babble. Back to that weird Tifa/Elena I'm writing. XD

Hee hee, magically appearing families.
That's always a problem. Like I was so shipping Genesis and Angeal from Crisis Core from the trailers. And now that the game's actually been released, if I've been understanding my spoilers right, they're actually brothers. o_O; And yeah, didn't quite kill that ship for me, but the point of that rant was I can relate. In some way. o-O;;

I like the Veld x Ifalna idea. It's cute.
