Fandom quick babble- FMA manga...
As I see it, there is a glimmer of hope that we will see Rose again in the manga.
... which would be way awesome, but I don't wanna jinx it.
Most likely Ed will somehow get to Liore to see the damage, feeling he has to go out of remorse for what he now knows he caused there. (I find it interesting that the manga followed through with Liore's invasion as the anime did. I wonder if Arakawa planned that all along and divulged the intentions from the beginning, or maybe even a backwards thing happened? ) Well, I doubt that's the case, and I doubt Liore will be anywhere near as big of a plot device in the manga.
What will probably happen is Ed will get there in the midst of a lot of destruction and see Rose before she dies, tragically but strangely happily. But now it all makes sense, why Cornello was used in the first place.
Maybe Rose will be a major sleeper character...
