A very good day
Well, today was a lot of fun. My school stuff is pretty much over now. That means...summer vaction is going to start soon! Yayay!
So...for today. Well, it was definitely an awesome day. Here's why:
I got going with my day, and then I talked to Jill. She gave me GREAT directions of how to get to her house. Yes, yes...quite an adventure. Well, after being lost for 10 minutes (which isn't that bad, considering that it's Altoona), I found her house. So, I picked her up, then we went to Christine's house.
So, yeah...I saw her iguana, which is awesome, then we just kinda decided to leave after standing around for a bit. We went to Goodwill for something to do. I got my suit for the prom there. $10. Oh yeah! Haha! I'm amazing like that.
I must admit..it was kinda weird at first...and for a while. I mean, we didn't always talk that much, or interact very well...it was kinda strange. A little uncomfortable. However, things seemed to get a little better with time. I mean, then again...it WAS the first time we all hung out together. And, we only went to Goodwill because I had to get to work when we left.
So, yeah...then I dropped everyone off...I changed my clothes in Jill's house =x Haha! Then, we had a very nice, long hug. =]
Then work. Yeah, blah. ::skipping::
So, I got home...then I was talking to Christine online. After talking about it for a bit, I decided to go to her house. So, I left after messing around online for a while. And, as predicted, it was quite an adventure trying to find her house in the dark; seeing as how I'd only been there 1 other time...EVER...and that was in the daylight. Yay for getting lost again!
[tangent] And, speaking of things to "yay" about...how about the fact that I almost died 3 times today! Yayayay! A schoolbus blatently pulled out in front of me (it was trying to turn) while I was going 50 m.p.h. down the highway. I had to nearly STOP COMPLETELY. WTF is that?! It wasn't even close! So, then...shortly down the road, another guy tried doing that...and, he stopped and flipped me off. WTF...AGAIN! Then, on the way home from work, there was some car (incoming traffic) with his/her vehicle being 95% in MY lane. We BOTH had to swerve severely to not die. [/tangent]
So, I went to Christine's...we had a lot of fun. Her friend Sami is crazy, but awesome. Gazelle + rain + 45 minutes = not a good idea. o_O Haha! So, once again...it was a LITTLE weird at first. However, things shortly lightened up...we had a lot of fun. We played DDR...we listened to some awesome/fun tunes...we danced...and I was chased around the pool table WAAAAY too much...and, having the fact that I'm EXTREMELY ticklish taken advantage again. Oh, did I ever mention that Christine is very abusive? Haha...well, I think her friend Sami is more-so than she is. Jeez...stupid fly swatter. >:o
But, yeah...I'm glad things loosened up. Hanging out with new friends totally rules. ^_^
So, all-in-all, today was a VERY awesome day for me.
Oh yeah...for those who even read this and know what's going on with me; if I haven't told you already, my car is fixed. And, instead of costing $300+, it was only $90. Hooray for that!
