I totally understand; I do not like his political positions, either. And if I wasn't already aware of most of the points he makes from other sources, I would not have assumed his article contained facts. But even if his motives are questionable, he does have a point in my opinion: the world view we get is filtered heavily by those who provide us with it, and we tend to forgive and hold blameless the leaders we like/elect and accuse and assume guilty those we don't.

Wow... I didn't realize the anti-OSC vitriol was this strong, or I would have dug deeper for a different commentator.

There's other commentary discussing media bias out there; Howard Kurtz discusses the topic pretty regularly. But again, it's a touchy one, because the complainers are typically complaining about whichever side is the one that opposes their typical viewpoint.

He's amazingly right-winged, and when you have an amazingly right-winged (and vocally so) saying "it's not fair to just attack the right," you have to wonder what his angle is. A different commentator -- perhaps one more centrist or at unbiased (ha!) or at the very least more academic -- would have gotten your point across much clearer.
