Ani DiFranco
So Ani DiFranco is doing a Vote Damnit! tour this fall to college campuses. And she's coming to Minneapolis. And it turns out, the Feminist Majority is a partner on this campaign/tour. So I get to go to the Ani concert for free! I'm going to register people to vote at the event. Plus, she's co-billed with Margaret Cho? How cool is that? The receptionist at FMF, who volunteered at similar Ani concerts in DC last year, said it was just an awesome experience for her. I'm so excited! If you're a big Ani fan, don't hate me - if you're in Minnesota on Sept 26th, you can volunteer too! Just let me know if you're interested.
