Considering that she is the one that put the story in motion (at least in the OVA), you would think she would appear more. But no, we rarely see her, after sending Makoto to El Harzard at the beginning of episode 1, she isn't seen until the end of episode 4. And of course she isn't in any of the sequels, not really. And less said about the one from the first tv series the better.
