Wow, I haven't updated in quite a while, have I? Well, here's another figure review and not of Evangelion either *gasps*.
This is less of an action figure than it is a statue, so pose-ability is severely limited. Or almost non-existent to be exact.
The sculpt is pretty damn good, capturing Spike's likeness really well. The coloring is okay, but nothing overwhelming. Except for the underside of his jacket cuffs, where they apparently forgot to paint it light blue.
The figure comes with three extras: his gun, a cigarette (with 2 spares, which is good because I already lost one) and the piece of street with a rose on it. Which you will need since Spike cannot stand on his own due to the fact that the pecks are directly under his feet instead of on the stand. He also needs the little rubber band to keep his gun in place.
This is pretty much the extend of his pose-ability. He can move his shoulders and elbows a bit and move his head from left to right. And if you move the elbows from their original position you can see the joints and that just looks bad.
All in all a nice figure to have standing around, but pretty useless if you want something to pose or arrange differently. Only buy this if you can get it cheap or you are a giant Cowboy Bebop fan. The figure was produced by Kaiyooo (or Kaiyodo) in 2001 and I've seen it sell online for about 12$.
See you, Space Cowboy... till the next review.
