Stop it with these remakes!
Seriously now, is Hollywood that desperate, that uncreative? Right now there will be not one, not two, but three horror movie remakes at the cinemas. There is One Missed Call, the remake of the Japanese The Call. Then we have The Eye remake of the Chinese movie of the same name. And soon we'll get the remake of the Thai movie Shutter.
I admit, I did like The Ring remake. But pretty much every remake after was either bad or pointless, because it was just the same movie with different actors (I'm looking at you, The Grudge). It's like US studios cannot make a horror movie that's not a remake anymore. Bah, sorry for the rant, but I needed to get this off my chest.
