The Tom 7:

Coming in at #7 is the song that ended the Cold War, David Hasselhoff's Looking for Freedom.

Showing up at #6 is the all-time classic from Transformers: The Movie - The Touch by Stan Bush.

You knew a Rocky song would have to appear on this list but it is not the overplayed Eye of the Tiger. No, from Rocky IV, coming in at #5, Burning Heart by Survivor. Rocky IV was a funny movie. You see Apollo Creed fought the big, cold-blooded Russian before Rocky. Rocky was Apollo's corner man for the epic encounter. Apollo got his ass handed to him in the first round. I mean, he got beat the fuck up. Any sane referee would have stopped the fight. Apollo heads back to the corner. Rocky's all like, "Yo, I thinks I should throw in towel here. It's not looking good for you, champ." And Apollo looks Rocky eye-to-eye, while actually his eyes were swollen shut but you get the point, and is all like, "Whatever you do, don't throw in towel. I got this sucker!" About 2 minutes later Apollo was dead. He took some ungodly shots and again the referee doesn't stop the fight. Rocky is left holding the towel in his left hand and Apollo's limp head in his right.

Coming in at #4 is my favorite song to fuck to, Don Johnson's Heartbeat.

Entering the countdown at #3 is that special song that we all listen to when we don't want to get out of bed in the morning. Sunshine Day by the Brady Six. In this song, Bobby Brady is noted for what is largely regarded as the greatest vocal ever recorded.

Falling just shy of #1 is my #2 greatest inspirational song: Phil Esposito's You're the Best aka the Karate Kid Theme.

Now my #1 most inspirational song. The song that inspired the world. Kenny Loggins Dangerzone.
