(no subject)
so it seems as though people are updating their lj's less and less. maybe it has something to do with the fact that it's summer and there are much better things to be doing. nice weather and stuff --might as well be outside. i know i've been spending time outside. i've also been reading a lot lately. i finished the secret life of bees which was a good read. and i read the da vinci code --it only took me a couple of days to read it. now i'm reading angels and demons which is pretty good so far.
on a nother note, i've been feeling a lot less sick lately...which is a plus. instead, it seems i've passed whatever it is i had on to some other people! hah... sorry! that's the price you pay for spending time with me. muah hah hah (evil laugh)
most importantly, i started what seems to be my new job today at café mio. it was actually really fun and turned out to be a lot less stressful than i'd expected. i haven't actually served tables yet, but i guess that's what comes next. today was sweet though, i met tons of people (the 'regulars') as well as one of the brothers who owns the 'fratelli' restaurants --he had the nicest car ever, a black range rover!! he's loaded!! so hopefully this job goes well and i don't screw up too badly. i don't want to get fired.
for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, i highly recommend the movie wedding crashers. two thumbs way up!
well i'm off to go see if i can track down my marks on ouac!
PS. for all those who are taking a bit of a vacation form livejournal, i really really hope that you start updating again when school starts in the fall. i know that won't be for quite a while, but i want to have updates from people, especially those of you who will be out of town (those of you in montreal... val, you know that means you too!) ..hahahh! seriously though, it will be a way to help stay in touch!
