(no subject)
so it's about time that i updated this thing. weird, it's the first one i've done this month --and it's what, the 12th already! speaking of which, highschool is officially over in one week (+ one day) for me. so surreal! i still don't think it's hit me yet... that would explain why i haven't been studying hardcore all weekend.
i've got to say that this past weekend was the best one i've had in quite a while. and i was sober the whole time! (haha, no surprise there)... anyways, downtown friday night --sisterhood of the travelling pants-- i'm pretty sure we all cried. oh how i love the market at night. next on my list of things to do is find some good 19 id. so we can wait in some ridiculously long line at the lower deck sometime soon!
saturday night was so HOT and STEAMY ...and by that i obviously mean the weather. hahaha! it's actually ridiculous how fricken humid it's been lately. too hot to do much of anything! i'm glad we ended up doing something in the end, that was quite the entertaining night. michelle if you're reading this, we hung out at josh's with andrew and anne houston too! it was so random! but the whole crowd was there (minus gary and bannerman--i really think he's dropped off the face of the earth or something) ....and andrew was positively hammered!! ohh man it was ridiculous! it felt just like summer again. ahhh i feel bad for anyone who doesn't have air conditioning... that was brutal (janis how can you survive?!)
hmm that's about it... other than the fact that it looks like i'll be joining the rest of the crowd that's going to carleton next year. i hope it's the right choice. but honestly, i'm so impartial to all the universities (they all have their pros and cons) that i think wherever i ended up it would be fine. carleton's going to be a party (and if it's not then we'll have to turn that around) and there's so much promise to visit friends out of town (reunion in MTL in october)!! i can already tell that next year is going to be soooo sweet.......
