Look at your LJ "interests" list. If you have fewer than 50 interests,
pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five
interests, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five
interests, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all
of 'em. List them on your LJ, and tell everyone exactly what it is
about these things that interests you so much.
a perfect circle, buffy, donnie darko,
garbage, jimmy chamberlin complex, nick cave, poetry, silverchair,
tennis, the mars volta, vodka.
a perfect circle -
I was a Tool fan first, so moving to A Perfect Circle was just a
natural progression for me. Plus, they had the added attraction of
James Iha playing in their live band when they were in Australia last,
so how could I not be a fan and go and see them? ;)
buffy - It's one of my favourite TV shows! I was a late bloomer though - I got into it after it had already finished, courtesy of Mr
when_it_ends.
donnie darko - How can you not like this movie? It's unique and it makes you think, that's what I like about it.
garbage - Well, Butch produced Gish and Siamese Dream, so
he automatically gets points and my interest for that. Shirley is
extremely hot and, last but not least, the music rocks!
jimmy chamberlin complex - To tell you the truth I'm not heaps excited
about JCC's music... it's more good background music than anything
else. I doubt I'd be listening to it if it wasn't Jimmy... but hey,
Loki Cat's great!
nick cave - I only recently got into Nick, thanks to Mr
burnt_notfrozen. He's an Aussie music legend, has a very unique style and a great voice.
poetry - It's a creative outlet for me.
silverchair - I was actually kinda stubborn and refused
to say I liked Silverchair for a while... then I realised the number of
their singles that I actually liked and caved! Neon Ballroom is my
favourite album. :)
tennis - One of my favourite sports, one that I've been
playing since very early on and which I continue to do with Tob every
now and then... and I also love going to the Aussie Open in Melbourne
each January.
the mars volta - I was kinda put off by The Mars Volta
when I saw them at the Big Day Out, because I thought they weren't that
great performers... they just stood around and played a huge jam
session to themselves, not to the crowd... but having heard their
studio stuff, I've forgiven them.
vodka - What can I say, I must have been Russian in a former life. ;)
