Craziness
It has been a busy week and this is the first opportunity I've had to LJ.
I had a weekend long training event for adult Scout leaders that I was a staff member for, so I was gone from Thursday morning to Sunday evening.
Classes went well, my presentations went well and the participants had a good time. We do the second weekend at the end of the month and I have two major presentations to do so I must brush up on them.
Sarah sent paperwork I need to get her stuff across the border and I think I threw it out with some trash and Monday is garbage day around here so it is long gone. She was NONE TOO HAPPY when I broke THAT news to her - but she was able to reproduce the documents and overnight mail them so I should get them today. Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa, Mea Maxima Culpa.
I played golf in a charity golf outing yesterday and came within a foot of a hole in one - closest I've ever been! Earned a $50 gift certificate at the golf course for thar bit of luck (there was absolutely NO SKILL involved!!!) Had lots of fun!
I lost my clip-on sunglasses on the course - I have to call today and tomorrow to see if anyone picked them up. I need them for my extreme road trip.
Susan and I are going to dinner tonight (our 31st anniversary)at an upscale Chinese restaurant - P.F. Changs.
I'll pick up a U-Haul trailer Thursday evening and then I'm off to Boston, Halifax, Boston, Cleveland,Milwaukee, and finally Cleveland!
I need to schedule an appointment with the vet for the cats, schedule an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon about my back problems, and probably two or three others that I cannot remember right now.
