New Year's eve with my uncle family was a blast, as always.
For the "write your own lyrics making fun of the other family to the tune of a Christmas song," my cousins did Carol of the Bells. The lyrics to my verse are as follows:

My family skipped out on the song this year, opting instead to write a picture book as a spoof on the one my uncle self-published just recently. It was "Our Favorite Cousins in the World." A typical page read, "Zak and Sam have impeccable table manners," and then pictured them playing with their food in horrendous ways from digital pictures we've gathered over the years. The best page might have been, "But we love them anyway, because they give us the BEST presents," with pictures of my mom and brother opening the abundance of gag gifts they've given us.
