A Not So Happy Lunar New Year

but my blog silence is not related to this! see, there was a death in the hubby's family over the first few days of CNY and immediately our red garments were exchanged for mourning togs and nice relatives for annoying ones. this meant no TV, no radio, almost no PCs and internet (except for work related purposes), little sleep and lots of folding of incense paper. I learnt to fold a lotus flower out of incense paper (my crowning achievement this new year, apart from finding an excuse not to give out ang pows this year and next year). this is the second death in the family over the chinese new year period that I have experienced! so CNY sucks big time! mama flo's pineapple tarts are still with me (uneaten) but i dunno if still can eat anot. hehheh...
interestingly, i have just signed up for friendster (yah... i know i'm really behind the times) in an attempt to look for someone i've lost contact with for at least 3 years. So if anyone knows of KlifeR's whereabouts, pls let me know!
hubby and I watched many movies over the weekend, including fearless and deuce bigalow. fearless is good. go watch it!
