Disappointing Jewellery session n a satisfying dinner

Nov 23, 2005 15:48

Quite upset over my very first jewellery session. one of my colleagues FORGOT about it and went home, leaving me to give a quick 30 min explanation to my last remaining "student". was done by 7.15 pm and extremely disappointed. i definitely shouldn't quit my day job to go into this full-time.

Minor disagreement with Hubby over watching "Goblet of Fire" and we ended up at Auntie Kim's korean cuisine at thomson for dinner. I ordered the traditional bean paste soup while hubby ordered some chicken bulgogi. the dishes came with rice and small plates of kimchi, kimchi zucchini, a ball of mashed potato, stir fried bean sprouts and vinegared spinach. quite a balanced diet of meat and veges. the food was very authentic (cooked by koreans) and tasted much like what i ate in korea. S recommended this korean (cheaper) restaurant at mosque st at chinatown. i want to try that soon! :D ginseng chicken!

Hubby's mood improved after dinner and we went to check out the ice-cream shoppe called Icekimo!

The place is so PINK! i love it! we had a sundae with 3 scoops (hubby picked belgium chocolate while i chose nutella and matcha with red bean) and 2 toppings (1000s n 100s & chocolate rice) for $5.30. the next time i go, i wanna try the ice-cream fondue!!! ($10.90) the matcha with red bean flavour was EXCELLENT. it tastes even better than haagen daaz's green tea (cause Icekimo's has red bean in it). hubby was happily playing some tanker-bomb-another-tanker game in his O2 whilst i polished off most of the ice-cream. hubby left me alot of his belgium chocolate flavour and he finished the matcha! *wails* next time PJ, realspace and belle come back, must bring them there.

went home feeling rather full and fat and dreaming of fondue.
