Little by little she's going back together
Latest on the repair of 59H:
Most of the parts have been received, other than the engine. The repaired nose gear-engine mount arrived Friday. The prop is here, as are the heat control box, the nose wheel fairing, the steering push rod, and a small assortment of gaskets and other parts. Still missing are the nose gear fork and a tube from the nose gear assembly. When these last two items arrive, they can do considerable assembly and have little left except installing the engine and hooking it up.
I should go out there and get some pictures. She was a sad sight last time I saw her. I need to pull her ADF anyway, since it seems to be pretty dead. May as well get avionics fixed along with this downtime.
