High School AU. But both being 18 (so taking place towards the end of school) Jared as a big jerk jock. Jensen as a cheerleader. Not your classic Jock/Cheerleader cliche fic. Jensen is a cheerleader but also really smart and is in the drama club, he’s also mostly closet gay. Somehow it got out at his school and everyone assumes he is, even though he’s never confirmed it. Jared is smart but concentrates more on whatever sport he’s playing that season. He also is completely straight *wink wink* He is either aware of his crush on Jensen or he doesn’t know, but either way Jensen rubs him the wrong way and he picks on him, a lot.
One night after a winning game there is a party, and Jared and his buddies get it in their heads to take the bullying of Jensen further, and think its a good idea to trick him into sleeping with Jared.
Jared spins a tale of how much he has admired Jensen and loves him, that he was hiding it with the bullying and he gets Jensen to sleep with him. I want Jensen being very hesitant (he’s a virgin) and only giving in because he believes Jared loves him (and he’s had a huge crush on Jared for a long time)
Afterwards though there is a group of people outside the room and it leads to Jensen basically taking a walk of shame. Would love to see Jensen’s struggle with it and the teasing/bullying for it at school later. And for Jensen to go to a dark place (waiting for the end of the school year) and only Jared can bring him out of it. Jared being regretful from the moment Jensen opens the door after their first time. And he tries to make up for it afterwards, coming out himself and trying to get together with Jensen for real. Something like ‘Can Jared win him back before Jensen leaves for college after graduation’
would like happy ending but maybe only after a long while, Jared having to prove to Jensen his sincerity

That friday started like any other, pep rally days before a hockey game, with the players shouting and being loud
"Where's the pansy?" shouted Justin to Jared from one side to the other of the hall
"Here!!" Jared replied holding Jensen's shoulder "getting ready to suck me after the game" everybody laughed, even Jensen, he was used to it being the first male cheerleading squad captain.

The next joke went all wrong, Christian Kane, Jensen's cousin told him that he should play instead of make a fool of himself cheering, Jensen had an accident in his sophomore year, a pock hit him in the face and doctors said his days as hockey player were over.

But the gossip didn't died down, when people were asking around for how much time have Jensen and Jared spent together, the jock got pissed and started picking on Jensen every time he saw him on the halls.

Jensen spent his time hiding trying not to be noticed. He was too ashamed for what he allowed other kids to do to him to say something at home and his parents thought he was just fine.
by the end of the season the district had two teams fighting for regionals East and West pontiac, and Misha's dad had a camera crew on the pep rally, after all he will be MVP. Everyone, everyone who was someone was there, Jensen was in the camera half the time, and Jared shared the rest of the time with his team, in one corner they could see Kevin's team, with their coach, it was punishment for the team who re-decorated the East's team bus with feathers and eggs.
Justin pushed Jensen and Jared stepped on the sign he was carrying when Christian got there

Justin and Chad had an idea on how to make him pay "and you might even have your girlfriend back"

Jensen's dad entered the room to find his son holding Jared against the wall while the boy kept repeating he was sorry. It was the first time they got to actually talk, Jared held Jensen's hand in the bed and when the boy jerked awake and saw him "what the fuck are you doing in my bedroom?"

"I don't care anymore, you had your fun and you ruined my life, nobody will ever remember anything else I've ever done" Jensen answered with real anger for once. "I'll leave and forget everthing about school in just few weeks, Can't you just give up already?"

Kevin's phone rang and he answered with a frown "Mom?" and gasped "but... how? is he okay?" jensen left everything paying attention to the conversation "Don't worry, I'll be there in a minute" and throwing everything "Decker had a heartattack... they're in the hospital" and when he was on the way to his pick up "Call Jess, tell her his dad.. tell her to come..."

Jensen is a cheerleader but also really smart and is in the drama club, he’s also mostly closet gay. Somehow it got out at his school and everyone assumes he is, even though he’s never confirmed it. Jared is smart but concentrates more on whatever sport he’s playing that season. He also is completely straight *wink wink* He is either aware of his crush on Jensen or he doesn’t know, but either way Jensen rubs him the wrong way and he picks on him, a lot.
One night after a winning game there is a party, and Jared and his buddies get it in their heads to take the bullying of Jensen further, and think its a good idea to trick him into sleeping with Jared.
Jared spins a tale of how much he has admired Jensen and loves him, that he was hiding it with the bullying and he gets Jensen to sleep with him. I want Jensen being very hesitant (he’s a virgin) and only giving in because he believes Jared loves him (and he’s had a huge crush on Jared for a long time)
Afterwards though there is a group of people outside the room and it leads to Jensen basically taking a walk of shame. Jensen's hands caressed Jared's hip and whispered "this is so wrong..." and Jared came, over Jensen abs;

" and looking around for his shirt after Jared let him up "she got knocked up two years ago and his parents kicked her out from the house, we gave her all of our savings, and we video chat with her every friday at 10, Kevin is like my brother" Jared sighed, he was battling inside his ehad, should he tell the truth? should he say he was sorry? "I dont' care about that" and once more offered Jensen a ride home, Jensen refused he had called Kevin and Justin waited with him, good thing because it took both of them and all their strenght to stop the taller boy from going to murder Jared Padalecki.

Christian moved closer "SHUT UP! that has nothing to do with this" and the next seven weeks were worst than the previous, most people weren't as shocked about his orientation as they were for -what they called- his sluttiness, every now and then guys walked to him and made him obscene comments or asked him out, girls liked to plaster his locker with paint and signs, the worst and more humiliating was one in red nail polish "I'll let you come all over me, for the right price"
Jared saw everything and felt bad, not because he could get in trouble, NO! but because Jensen was after all innocent. his nights were split between weird painful nightmares and dreams of the delicious sounds Jensen made when coming and the elevtric touches from those hands, the green light in those eyes and his lips, those delicious lips.

Jensen left the cheerleading team, and started skipping some classes to be as invisible as posible, and when he wasn't hiding had either Christian or Justin with him, or the whole cheerleading squad. he might not be part anymore but they were his friends.
Jared saw how the teasing got in PE when Chad smacked Jensen in the showers for looking down when Chad turned at him. Jared tried to help but Jensen only got up and left. He knew that after that he'd either skip Physics lab, or sit at Mr. Kripke's desk so jared waited until the last second, he saw Jensen sitting on the teacher's desk while the teacher gave him a paper, Jensen was taking his exam, the one he missed when the boys left him without shoes on the yard three weeks earlier, Justin commented about it on the phone while PE.
By the end of the class Mr kripke asked Jared to stay for a minute "I know you're a jock and you're not supposed to care for your grades... but you're graduating Jared and it'll be horrible of me not giving you this..." and offered him a Stanford brochure "You have good grades, good enough to apply and I've heard you want to go to the west coast and this could be a good school..."
Jared decided to apply but didn't say anything, he thanked his professor and left the room catching a glimpse of jensen entering the bathroom alone.
Jared ran into the room and looked around finding noone else, Jensen turned and gasped, but face serious and hard expression on washed his hands and walked to the door in silence "aren't you gonna say anything?"
Jensen still ignored him "aren't you angry? come one, take it out..." Jensen held the door and pulled hard "Please..?" Jared was still holding it closed
Jared saw the turmoil of emotions in his once friend features "PLease...? because you care? because you love me? "mocked Jensen "should I fix my hair for the pics outside the door?" and once more pulled the door, this time Jared le it got.
Jensen got home and his mom asked him why was a boy calling every three minutes "is this the same guy from the sign? Because I swear I'm calling the police"
Jensen smiled "nahh he's not dangerous, just a jerk who wants to have his conscience clean" that friday, half drunk Jared climbed Jensen's window and broke in to talk ot him.
Jensen's dad entered the room to find his son holding Jared against the wall while the boy kept repeating he was sorry. It was the first time they got to actually talk, Jared held Jensen's hand in the bed and when the boy jerked awake and saw him "what the fuck are you doing in my bedroom?"
Jared looked into his eyes "I need you to listen to me, I'm sorry, I swear I am-"
"I don't care anymore, you had your fun and you ruined my life, nobody will ever remember anything else I've ever done" Jensen answered with real anger for once. "I'll leave and forget everthing about school in just few weeks, Can't you just give up already?"
Jared tried hard to swallow the knot on his troath "and me? will you forget me?"
Jensen's jaw flexed his teeth gritted "YES! especially you" Jared's eyes turned red and he started repeating over and over he was sorry,that's when Mr Akles found them.
It was a whole mess, Jared's parents had to pay for the damages and they apologized with Jensen and his family for everything. Jared was ordered to stay away from Jensen and even if he tried to get close Kevin was there all the time.
Jensen was in his bedroom with Kevin, packing, they'd be leaving just a week after graduation. Kevin was packing shirts when raiwed his head to find Jensen holding a shirt "so... now that you're out does tht mean I can ask you out?"
Jensen looked at him for like half minuite without being able to speak, until Kevin started laughing he fell on the bed laughing while jensen was still recovering fromt he shock "I've been talking to you for the last ten minutes Jay" and finally Jensen smiled.
Kevin's phone rang and he answered with a frown "Mom?" and gasped "but... how? is he okay?" jensen left everything paying attention to the conversation "Don't worry, I'll be there in a minute" and throwing everything "Decker had a heartattack... they're in the hospital" and when he was on the way to his pick up "Call Jess, tell her his dad.. tell her to come..."

Jared did everything in silence his parents tried to ignore him, still angry for what he did, his baby sister entered his bedroom "you're the ass who forced the cheerleader? it was you?"
Jared turned "What? NO!!"
But the kid kept talking "you're such a pig, everyone at my school talks about that, and I am in the cheerleading squad Jared, it could've been me..."
Jared faced her "I didn't forced anyone... he's..." and rubbing his eyes "I don't fucking know..."
The girl took his glove from the bed "Mom and dad are so angry... you're lucky you're going to a good school or they'll chain you in the basement... I think they're right by the way, that's a very douchey move... " Jared rolled his eyes and left the bedroom, when his sister called him he left the house frustrated and started walking down the street, the sky was covered in thick gray clouds and he could hear somewhere some thunders.
"Excuse me?" a girl around his age was few feet away "Hi, could you tell me where's manticore Street?" Jared blinked, he knew, because it was Jensen's street, the first drop ofrain landed on his head and made him react.
"six blocks ahead and then turn left, another 10 blocks and you'll be there... " the girl; slim tan body, pretty face holding a toddler sighed, her diaper bag looked heavy and had another small suitcase too. the rain started falling down harder and harder
"I made a mistake" groaned and turned to see the cab leaving "SHIT!!!" and tried to get her phone out, her baby started fuzzing "I know I know LJ... just give me a second..." Jared moved out of instinct and held the baby, the girl turned and smiled, the rain was getting harder "thanks, I had to rush here, my dad had a heartattack or something and.. I have to find my brother..." she tried calling a cab company but she couldn't get signal, her eyes wattered.
"hey, hey... calm down, my car is right there" and pointing to his house "I can drive you two ..." and started walking to the house with LJ and the small suitcase without waiting for an answer. he had to get them out of the rain.
She waited at the porche, Jared came back with his keys and a bottle of water for her "thanks... " She offered and once in the car "I'm sorry, I'm not...like this."
"It's okay... you have al the right in the world to be upset..." and sighing "your kid is adorable, how old is he?"
"15 months, is the first time my parents are gonna see him" and sighing while holding the baby's forehead "im afraid he's coming down with something" and to the baby "because you're a gentleman most of the time, right? right?" and the baby gurgled back.
"so... what house?"he said entering the street the girl pointed to a two store house with green windows, one glass on the second floor was obviously newer than the others.
Jared stepped on the breaks "I can't drive you there..." Jess looked at him. "I'm sorry... I" he doubted if he shoudl try to explain hiumself
Jessica opened the door and carried her son with her, Jared climbed out and tried to help her avoide the rain
"you've done more than enough, thank you... I'm Jessica Alba by the way" and offered the only free hand to the guy.
"I'm Jared... nice to met you" but then they could hear the other man Jensen came out of his house angry and menacing
"Get the hell away from her" and stalked to Jared shoulders tense and ready to fight. Jessica had to move in front of Jensen "Did he hurt you? did he say anything?"
Jared blinked sad "I wouldn't hurt her..."
Jessica held her friend's hand "he drove me here, J, what happened?"
Jensen looked from Jared to Jessica "it's him"
she looked at Jared in quiet horror "but you were nice... and" and looking at her baby "good bye Jared" pushed Jensen speaking louder than him "Move J, move!!! tell me about my dad..." But Jensen was still facing Jared "Jay, come on... I need to see my dad, help me here...LJ is gettign wet"
finally Jensen looked at her and smiled to the baby "Yeah...I'm sorry..." and sighing I was worried he'd try... Hi LJ..." said cooing "he's adorable..." and more serious while carrying her suitcase "My dad's out of town, but my mom is on call, she's your dad's cardiologist, Josh and his mom are there... all I know is that he's stable, but asked to see you, I could look after LJ while you go to the hospital... I'll give you my car..." and finally looking at her "how are you li'l fella?" and Jess broke down and started crying.
Half an hour and a million of instructions later Jensen was left alone with the baby, okay Logan Junior. according to your mom I only have to give you some milk now and then and check your diaper is clean... and do my homework." The baby gurgled "your mom was a slacker... and she's giving me shit about my homework?" and held his breath "sorry, sorry, I didn't meant to swear in front of you" and the baby giggled.
Jensen was writing his english final paper when the baby woke up, crying and wet, Jensen looked around for the diapers, opened the suitcase and found nothing but clothes "Uh oh, think your momma didn't left us suplies baby..."
Of course she didn't, she forgot the baby bag inside jared's car, and she forgot when Jensen started shouting at him. the second he parked at hime his mother was there askign where he went and why he left without saying anything, Jared spent an hour saying he was sorry and then he did his homework, at 7 pm his mother yelled at him to go pick up megan from a friend's house and he obeyed quietly.
Megan sat next to him and pulled something from the back sit "Since when you carry a purse?" and jared almost passed out in both shame and fear, because he saw jessica, she had only this little bag for the baby and her really really small suitcase.
he stopped in front of his house "tell Mom I had to go somwhere"
Megan stayed in the car "She's gonna be pissed and I'm not gonna pay for you"
Jared rolled his eyes "Get out now..."
Megan looked at him, she used to love this person in front of her "you're suck an ass" and opened the door marching straight to the kitchen door screaming "MOM, Jared is leaving without permission!!" yet Jared was already hitting reverse.
he knocked on Jensen's door and breathing deep expected his mom or dad to attend but jensen carrying a screaming baby "WHAT!!!" he spat shaking the baby in an awkward way.
"no, you're gonna make him..." it was too late, both were covered in the green goe jensen feed the baby with not even half hour ago "Damn it Jensen!!!" and took the baby getting inside "first of all that's not how you hold a baby, that's the fast way to be covered in puke..." and looking to LJ "and this poor kid needed a fucking diaper change like three hours ago"
"Hey! no swearing!!!" Jensen sighed defeated "I didn't have a diaper's bag do I? I already asked my mom what I should do but I can't drive with him..."
Jensen saw the bag Jared was carrying "Your friend left it in my car when you..."
Jensen moved took it and not making eye contact "thank you, I can handle it from here..." opened his hands in front of him for the baby to be given back.
Jared sighed "have you ever changed a diaper?"
Jensen turned to face him again "and you did?" Jared nodded "you shitting me? when?"
"you're swearing now..." Jensen rolled his eyes "Megs tried to baby sit at home last summer, I ended up in charge of everything as usual..." Jensen wouldn't be able not to laugh, even if he tried, he knew megs, he knew Jared... or so he thought. "just give me two minutes and this little guy will be clean..."
it took far more than two minutes, Jared first change went samooth, but the baby peed not long after that one while Jensen offered Jared a t-shirt, and he tried to change the diaper much for Jared's fun, first he had it inside out, then he couldn't take off the sticky parts covers, and then he hadLJ farting on his face and Jared was laughing so hard "Oh man, that's gorss, worse than Chris drunk on Gen's party last march" Jensen looked up.
"yeah.. who'd tell our lives would change this much in less than a year huh?"
Jared was serious again "I never meant to let you face them...never..."
"but you did..." The baby started whinning and fuzzing.
"I was..." Jared had to stop wththe first wailing "give him to me..."and once in Jared's arms the baby was asleep inminutes while he kept talking "I was trying to tell you, I swear, I tried... but you didn't listen..."
"Justin said you sent him" and smiling "that's why I held Kev before he were after you"
"I wouldn't have fought back" Jensen looked at him from the floor where he was getting all the supplies he took out of the bag
"Why?" Jared smiled
"Because I didn't knew things about you, and I hurt you and because I should've said something, anything, sooner." and hiding his eyes "I was scared... of how I felt and how right..."
"bullshit!" Jensen moved away whenJared shushed him "I could forgive you, but just don't you use the same shit, and if your plan is to have a handjob or something..."
"I don't want that.... " Jensen stoped "I would want a kiss... and you accepthing my apologies, because stupid as they are, they're sincere, I didn't meant to hurt yo. and I miss my friend"
Jensen moved to the couch where the baby had a nest "put Logan down and leave..."
Jared put the baby down and moved to Jensen "Just tell me you understand... that I wasn't joking or making hfun... I just didn't know about myself..."
jensne might be angry, might feel desperated, but you cannot fight a crush you feel for years, it will vanish eventually yes, but right then? Jensen's heart flipped at the idea of maybe, MAYYBE Jared was honest....
Still he might be inlove, but he was no fool, feeling Jared getting close "don't, I won't let you touch me" and getting a hand up punched Jared in the face
"I deserved that"
"and I'll deliver if you get close " but when Jared gave fast steps until he was very very close Jensen panicked "please don't... please.. not again"
Jared smiled "was it that bad with me?"
Jensen blinked "it was a lie, it was bad..." but didn't move away
"I never meant it to hurt you" his hand caressed Jensen's hair
"I'll do anything, anything... just ask me, but please stop"
"I only want one kiss, that's all, I..." and clossed the distance until he touched Jensen's lips.
And that was home and heaven, sweet and perfect. "DAMN" Jared was smiling.
"please go home, go away, don't do this to me, I know you won't be with me the way I want..."
Jared moved forward but Jensen hid his face "I could... "
"then show me" ordered Jensen, Jared looked at him speechless

"there's no way Jared, no way... just leave..."
So Jared left, and his parents grounded him, that next friday when the pep rally for the last game at home arrived it was a tradition to ask the sweethearts of the players to kiss them, if the player was single, he was kissed by a somwhat celebrity from school, the home coming queen, the winner of a pageants and so.
But Jared had an idea and he was calling for the sweethearts, when it was his turn he looked for Justin and he nodded, and he started "It's the captain's turn!!" shouted Justin in the crowd and Gen was brought forward.
"NO guys, I just don't want to kiss anybody else..." and biting his lips let it out "only Jensen, if he forgives me and agrees to be my boyfriend..." whispers ran on the whole place and teachers shook heads "and I'm not joking I made a fool of myself and hurt him" coach held him and took the microphone but Jensen took it back "you asked me to show you, Jen? this is it! I can be with you, I can do it, all I need is you and just your kisses" and Coach Manners ordered Jared to wait for him and the principal behind the bleachers.
Jared sat, Justin said Jensen was there... and now here he was sitting behind the bleachers, he'd be expelled or something and his parents are going to be angry, and all he could think about was Jensen, not coming forward for him. he sat; hands in pockets while the whole school was shouting and chanting for the team that was going to regionals.
"that's the dumbest... most moronic thing I've seen..." Jensen giggled "you're a cliché.. you can't be gay and corny"
Jared smiled and got up "you kidding me? I was awesome like Kusack holding the boombox cool"
Jensen kept laughing "you silly, that's not cool, besides nobody likes that movie anymore"
"but you do..." Jensen got serious
"you realize you came out in front of the whole school?" Jared nodded "your dad is gonna flip..."
"I don't care"
jensen laughed "the rumor out there states that most of the team have to be gay? and east pontiac too since kev's gay too"
"I don't care..." and held Jensen, this time without any resistence; without fearing the boy would punch him as he knew jensen was more than capable to do.
"I do... you have no idea how hard it is...to be out" and lowering his eyes "people harrasses you, and beat you, and have an opinion on your life and call you names, even those who doesn't know you."
Jared looked at jensen "I'm sorry.. I'm sorry I'0ve been an ass for this long, I'm sorry, I swear..."
"if I... if I accept your propossal should I be worried about your team?" and half joking "you should know that there are a couple jerks in it"
"no, if you want to be with me... I'll protect you, and I'll face anything... even my dad or the risk of being expelled... I only want you, nothing else, you don't even have to do more than let me see you and go out with me and... and maybe kiss me..."
"really?" Jared nodded "then we could talk about this deal.. you know?" and Jensen got close and kissed Jared, the teacher and principal heard part of it, and the principal interupted some time latter.
Jared got suspended again, but only for one day, and his team got to regionals to be defeated by an absurd ammount of points... you don't want to know that.
They got together and the bullying stopped, they became the golden couple, and for thise last seven weeks they were the absurd Tv-perfect cliché: Captain jock, kind of a jerk and the most beatiful in the school, cheerleader captain, with perfect hair and gorgeous smile, crazy inlove.
They even got in the same college; don't get me wrong there's not happy everafter, this is not one of those stories, this one? this one is a begginging, who knows how long they were together, maybe a year, maybe eight or nine. maybe a lifetime.
