I Has the Solution!!
Looks like it's time to re-install Windows again. That'd prolly fix my random disconnection issue. And a few other things as well. Nothing else seems to be working to keep me connected, all my equipment tests out as being fine, and I do fiddle around with it an awful lot.
Oh joys, what fun.
So on top of everything else I'll be taking care of this coming week, I'll also be tidying files on the main partition, backing up the whole drive, and then hopefully out of commission Friday evening/Saturday daytime while re-installing, then reconfiguring, and back online with fingers crossed sometime late Saturday.
Makes me glad I just put my installation disks in order last week. =^.^=
