I'm a "member" of the Columbia House DVD club, through which I've gotten some great deals, and am very happy.
A few months ago when I checked the status of my "Director's Selections" (the ones they send you automatically) and found nothing outstanding, I thought to myself, "Hmm, I hope if I DID miss responding to one, it's The Aviator."
I really shouldn't think things like that to myself. 'Cause it came in the mail today.
I know I should send it back, I'll be able to get it cheaper later, I can't waste money like that right now, etc.
But I can't help trying to justify keeping it: It's here now, I'd have to go all the way to the post office, I haven't gotten a new movie in awhile, I have no cable anymore, there are a ton of extras on it. I have seen it (in the theatre) and absolutely loved it. I did intend to get the DVD.
ETA: I just took a good look at my phone bill, too, and discovered that it's been knocked down considerably due to not being able to talk to sweetie as much. So that's a factor.
I feel I need to be guilted into the decision, like so:
