Ha. Ha ha. Ha.

My hair's at this stage where it stands up straight but now has the capacity to look messy as well. It's a pain...and this is the reason I cut it all off, but I'm not going to do that again (for various reasons).

I've put gel in it, in hopes that at least some of it would flatten down. No dice. Now it just looks wet and spiky.

Grargh.

LOL! Sounds like the lime helmet - a la your user pic - might be the only viable solution... ;-)

The one good thing about hair is that it does not stay permanently at one length. This, too shall pass....

Hehehee, you're so very right and I hadn't thought of it. Don't think it'd fit me though...I might do some photoshopping to see what the result might look like, nonetheless. What an image!

You're right about it not staying the same length...it's officially 2 inches long now. But I don't WANT it to grow!!

Wear a ball cap? (just an obvious suggestion from a cap designer here sorry)

LOL, fair enough you'd be thinking business. :p I'm much of a one for ball caps, though, and even if I was, there aren't any around here to speak of. Good thought, though.

Been there. Done that. Thank god I don't have the t-shirt!

Just play with it, that's what I did. Eventually you'll find the middle ground where you don't have to do much, but it looks viewable. :) Frankly, though, I went with the spiky look, so dunno about you. I got this texture gel and just basically scrubbed it through my hair, played with it for a sec, then ta-da! Take my picture and publish me on a magazine, baby! ^_~

I'm so tempted to make a t-shirt of that first line.

I'll probably just leave it be, and use the spiky look for dressing up, if need be. At least it'll look like I made an effort, then.
