I missed seeing him a couple years ago, on my birthday no less. So I am strongly considering renting a car and driving down for the event. It'd be really great if I could meet up with crackferret and maybe even goldlizard while I'm there.
It depends on what my hubby says, of course, but I'm quite sure I can get that Monday and Tuesday off work, and Hertz has a Seattle-and-back rental deal for a really good rate. It may not materialize, but you know, this is a guy that I really adore for not being a run-of-the-mill movie star type of person, as well as being very funny, not scared to let himself appear stupid...and he's not too shabby-looking to boot. It's worth a try, right?
