Darn, I didn't start a trend after all...
Portman morphs into skinhead Sinead
BANG
Natalie Portman is being mistaken for Irish singer Sinead O'Connor - after shaving her head.
The stunning actress, who shocked fans outside the 'Star Wars' premiere at the Cannes Film Festival with her new look, is said to be delighted by the error.
Natalie, who was forced to chop off her locks for her role as a freedom fighter in new movie 'V For Vendetta', was worried earlier this week her skinhead would send out the wrong message.
She revealed: "People will think I'm a neo-Nazi or a cancer victim or a lesbian. But I'm not at all."
A source close to the star confessed: "Natalie is being mistaken for Sinead O'Connor. She thinks it's hilarious and loves it."
Despite her shaved head, Natalie sent pulses racing at the 'Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith' Cannes premiere on Sunday (15.05.05), when she arrived dressed in a low-cut black dress.
She was joined by a galaxy of stars including Samuel L. Jackson, 'Desperate Housewives' actress Eva Longoria, Sharon Stone and 'Star Wars' creator George Lucas.
