Intro for brigits_flame
Hello my name is szalotka and I'm a writer.
The name is pronounced with a /sh/ sound I was living in Gdansk at the time and was frequently frustrated by my inability to find and buy shalots. I have a whimiscal and sometimes weird sense of humor that way.
Since Gdansk I spent a cople of years in Budapest (where you can get shalots), which is where I came back to writing after a sabatical inforced by work. I'm now doing a second degreee focussing, in part, on creative writing.
I enjoy writing (probably obvious), travel (nice to see I'm not alone in that here), Food (the cooking and the eating), Photography (it helps me focus on noticing things). I read a lot and will read just about anything. I try not to watch CNN as yelling at the TV makes me feel crazy.
