On a side-note: as I've mentioned on tumblr before, I'm trying to write a spitefic crossover using Lord Potter as the main villain. But writing it has caused me to realize something: I have no idea what to do with Hermione. Luna's easy. She doesn't do anything. She stands there and looks pretty. Hermione does much the same thing, but she does more than Luna (not that that's hard...) and after eighteen years I'd expect some of Hermione's original characterization to come forward, only... warped and twisted, since the currency of PISS is power and someone like Hermione would probably be one of the best players at that game once all her humanity and empathy are removed.
But the question is, what does that amount to? How does Lady Potter think and act, compared to canon Hermione or KiP!Hermione, or even ITWATN!Hermione? Hermione here does pretty much nothing, just act like a 50s housewife (with less agency) whereas I want Lady Potter to be as credible a villain as Lord Potter or Lord Longbottom. What to do, what to do...
On a final note, I love how somehow ITWATN is worse in one chapter than PISS is for most of the story. At least at this point, Luna still has something to do. But considering ITWATN 11...
