Am I the only one who thought Dolly Parton was a trainwreck on the Oscars? I used to think she was adorable, but now it just hurts my eyes to look at her. It also sounded as if she had her vocal cords altered to match her face. Just...no.
Still going WTF? over Best Picture. Loved all the Daily Show touches, especially the Best Actress campaign ads. (Stephen Colbert!) Hated Reese Witherspoon's speech. A real woman? And what is that, exactly?
Love George Clooney. Michelle Williams needs to eat five hundred sandwiches. And never wear that shade of yellow again. 40 Year Old Virgin should have been nominated for best original screenplay. The Oscar production values sucked this year and should in no way reflect on my boyfriend, Jon Stewart. Selma Hayak continues to make my husband go "humina-humina." It appeared as if a lot of people left their sense of humor home in that audience. Jon was right, the Pimp guys had the most fun of anyone there, except maybe George Clooney.
I really want to see A History of Violence now.
