Any country music/american folk/appalachian music fans:
Woodsongs Old-Time Radio Hour (which is recorded about two blocks from my apartment) is hosting a special two-hour long recording session March 14, featuring an array of as-yet unannounced appalachian/folk singers and Emmylou Harris. I'm not exactly a fan of country (I've been known to enjoy various and sundry types of folk music, tho'), and probably won't be attending, but tickets officially go on sale Friday--I can buy them right now, $35-$46, and I could probably get anyone traveling a free or very inexpensive place to stay.
Anyone who's interested get in touch with me by your preferred method, we'll arrange ticket purchasing and such.
I suppose this is also an invitation for any friends who wish to attend other recordings of Woodsongs. If at some point you notice some artist on their schedule you'd like to see, give a yell and I'll see what can be done.
