The Difference
I just read a fic, and suddenly, I've once again been hit by that feeling of utter uselessness and frustration at my lack of motivation these days. I can't seem to break my habit of procrastination. Even though I know I'm failing Lingg, which is my major of all things, I can't bring myself to actually study. I feel horrid, and even more so when I hear of how others are doing well and are really "career-ing" their studies. Why am I so LAZY!?!?!
The fic I read was like a huge slap to the face. For those who know Kare Kano, that's the fic I was reading about: The First Time And again, for those who know that anime, Yuki is like the perfect model of a student - a student I wish I was. I know nothing really comes from useless wishing like I am, but I can't help but envy and covet what I don't have. I'm a sinner that way.
And here is the result of that fic, and this will hopefully serve as a reminder of my motivation and inspiration, so that I may strive towards my dreams.

to NOT LET TIME RUN ALONE
to BUILD OTHERS UP
and NOT DWELL ONLY ON YOUR OWN
to DO MORE THAN WHAT'S EXPECTED OF YOU
and somehow MINIMIZE THE LOAD
yet MAKE THE MOST OF WHAT YOU SOW
but the biggest difference of all
comes in the knowledge that
THERE ARE 12 PEOPLE TO CATCH ME IF I FALL
