Rating: K
Warnings: hint of slash
Summary: "Home is sleeping beside you on a rainy Saturday.”

A/N: This is for shihan-ai. I love you! XD It's pretty much Hangeng-centric with the whole band but.. yeah. It's pretty much about Hangeng and the band. :) Thank you to haruharu3dsb for helping me. <3

I bet you guys noticed that there are tiny little edits every now and then. :O I'm really sorry since there's lots of grammar mistakes and things that sounded fine before sound weird now and I had to change it a bit. :) Sorry for the inconvenience. ^^

“Home is sleeping beside you on a rainy Saturday.”

Hangeng stares at the words on a piece of yellow post-it then looks outside the window watching the rain fall and wonders how is a rainy saturday supposed to be like home. That wasn’t home. His home was something else different. His home was in China with his family. His home included his mother’s delicious dumplings, his dad’s loud infectious laughter and the never ending chatter of his numerous relatives. But when he turns around and catches the sight of a photograph showing all thirteen members of the band including Zhou Mi and Henry, Hangeng realizes that he’s made a mistake.

The rain falls down harder.

Then Hangeng begins to wonder how his home changed from China to them. His mind begins listing all the definitions of home. It changes to a home including twelve other young men all living in the same loud, lively building. It changes to a home where hearing the sound of Kyuhyun tapping away on his keyboard turns to something of a comfort, a home where Ryeowook is constantly seen around the kitchen trying to fix up the favorite meals of each member, a home where Leeteuk can be seen fussing over the others and constantly cracking jokes like the one he does on shows, a home where Kangin and Heechul are arguing over the remote and anything else they can think of.

It’s a home where he spars with Sungmin and watching the younger boy in awe as he improves more and more each day, where Siwon is always there to keep him company and chat to him in Chinese, where watching Kibum, Donghae and Eunhyuk turns to something like a romance comedy with Donghae in the middle and Eunhyuk at ease because of Kibum’s constant absence from band activities, where sitting down and talking to Shindong is kind of like therapy except he doesn’t have to pay and there’s someone always barging in the middle of the talk, and where Yesung and his turtle are just there. In their own little world.

It feels like home whenever he sees the sunshine in Zhou Mi’s smile or hearing the sweet melody of Henry’s violin floating around the dorm of SJ-M in China.

So when Hangeng looks outside again, the rain is still there but it’s not coming down as hard as earlier anymore, he stands up and leaves his room and goes off to find the rest of the members. No one’s at home but when he walks out of the kitchen, he hears the familiar tapping of the keyboard. He goes to the source and finds Kyuhyun behind the couch with his laptop on the ground, fixated on the glowing screen. He sits beside the younger boy who merely turns his head and gives him a surprised look that turns into a knowing one and goes back to his game but not before handing the Chinese man a pillow.

Hangeng takes it and leans against Kyuhyun and falls asleep while the other lets a small smile appear on his face.
