WENT FISHING OVER THE WEEKEND.
i didn't catch anything big.
everyone else was catching stuff, but there were like 60 people on the charter. i felt like everyone was catching everything and there were none left for me. so i knew what my job was.. i was there to feed the fish. so i would drop my line with lots of bait and minutes later all the bait would be gone. so at least i was luring the fish for others.plus, fishing with one arm is very hard.
my step dad caught the biggest snapper and won the jackpot . someone caught a huge flounder. it looked nothing like that fish in the little mermaid... it was white on one side and both eyes were on the other, and some chick caught a octopus, a big one about the size of her head, and lemme tell you what, they aint joking when they say they have good grips. it caught hold of the railing. it took 3people 20 minutes to get it off.
all in all i still had lots of fun, and saw lots of my family.
today i felt mechanically inclined to work on my scooter.
i replaced the fuel tap. took me about an hour or so, trying to drain all the gas first. but even after all that, when the tap was removed there was still enough gas to soak up a whole tshirt, at least.
now i am just missing a pin to run through the tap and the switch.

my arm is still not fucntioning correctly but i have been getting a little bit of my range of motion back slowly. i got to tie my shoes by myself the other day. still not comfortable with the whole no job thing. but i don't think my arm can handle any work work yet.
