Update, Update, Update

So, ok first off there is about 2 ft of snow outside on the ground, which was getting on my nerves at first, and I was determined to beat it. I failed, but it did cancel my AP American mid-term tomorrow, so I can't hate it completely. So the good news is that I can leave the house tomorrow...yay! Even better though, I got accepted to the CSLC. The NSLC and the CSLC have been "bothering" me for about a year. Somehow they got word of my outstanding academic performance last year and wanted me to "represent" W-L at a leadership conference, only one catch it costs money. Since my mom had already spent money on the Italy trip, she said that attending one of the conferences was out of the question. I had know idea that would keep inviting me to attend, considering I moved and changed schools and my GPA dropped dramatically, but I received yet another invitation in the mail yesterday. It turns out that the have a 10 day Forensic Science course over the summer, my mother really wanted me to be "productive" this summer so I thought this was a great opportunity. I emailed the application to my mom and she filled it out and within an hour or so I received and e-mail saying that my application had been approved. So now I get the benefit of receiving a college credit upon completion of the course. I chose july 1-july 10 at San Diego University. My mom suggested maybe the two of us going after I finished finals and being tourists and then going down to tijuana where she knows people and what not. So yeah I'm really excited cause this will look so awesome to colleges and it will be soooooo much fun.
