Basically got told today that I am "one of those people...you know, the ones that you wouldn't care if you ever saw or talked to them again" by someone I care about very much. Among other things, but I don't care to go into detail.

People wonder why I'm so pessimistic. It's because you get let down a lot less. I tried to be optimistic this time, and only got my heart broken.
