Circumstances of Arrival
Observations
- High majority of arrivals were asleep or knocked out prior to arrival.
- Arrivals wash up on beach. Not seen an arrival yet in person, except personally. No boat or other transport observed so far.
Solid Evidence.
- Names appear on mailboxes. Personal experience, anecdotal from other people.
- Possessions arrive with them - not all, but some.
Possible Conclusions.
- Potential of drugs? Heavy narcotics? How else do you stay asleep/unconscious for that long?
- Abduction, perhaps, but what reasons? Where are the demands/conditions?
- Whoever responsible must have been spying on us.
- Dr Watson mentioned something about reality TV. Should not sound as probable as it does.
Future action
- Set up camera to watch for arrivals/passing boats.
- Figure out timepoint for intelligence gathering. x-reference other info.
- Talked to doctors about drug testing. None experienced enough. Long term evidence won't disappear. Remember in case scientists/forensics turn up.
- Continue to interview new arrivals. Esp. ask about last memories.
Nature of Arrivals
Observations
- Two doctors, two cops, one... businesskid?, one student, one old-timey-something.
- Timeframes. What is going on there? Everyone seems to think it's a different date. See solid evidence.
- No discernible patterns in occupation, gender or age.
- Timeframes seem to cluster around late 20th/early 21st. Morgana le Fay a significant outlier (Arthurian?). Sue Smith furthest forward in time (2017)
Solid Evidence
- Timeframes: documentation and personal info (phone records, technological knowledge, paperwork?)
Possible Conclusions
- None immediately. Weird time differences - strikes me as a game, potentially. AR, possibly. Removal of glasses does nothing. AR does not run like that.
- Kidnap theory further debunked if time differences prove to be real.
- But what do time differences prove?
Future action
- Try and get more solid documentation to prove time differences real. ID cards, passports?
- Talk further to Morgana.
- See if my Milspecs pick anything up.
- Keep talking to new arrivals, try to find patterns.
The City
Observations
- looks like gamespace. uninhabited buildings, a city built for noone (except us), changable locations/architecture (rooms appearing out of nowhere). Not gamespace. See above comment re: glasses.
- Locations seem to be designed for us. places from Costigan's home, Svetlana's home my home, poss. others. Useful locations - a police station, a bar, a restaurant. Rooms, too.
- space adapts to amount of people? New rooms appear for people.
- nobody in city. Not even working the supermarket. stuff... cleans itself up, but not whilst you watch it.
- Total signal deadzone. Copspace, internet non-functional. Yet to test Miltary Intel. No phone signal. Can, however, contact others via mobile phone - but only within the deadzone itself. Enforced deadzones and passwords still functional within station - Copspace is not, even on laptops. Hardwired to server - server non functional. Hard reboot failed.
- Crumbling buildings not as if they were abandoned, just crumbling like sand, almost. Icebergs, maybe. Reminds me of that.
Solid Evidence
- pictures taken of locations. video of items returning themselves (not the actual event, but the change in circumstance), video of apartment before/after Svetlana's arrival.
- video of before/after cleaning up in supermarket. Tested with John.
- Tests of server logged. Repeated tests on every visit to station, logging changes.
- Records of conversations over network exist, like blog history.
Possible Conclusions
- gamespace atm discredited as theory, but keep it in mind. Advanced gamespace, perhaps? Why am I such a n00b?
- Definite probability of intel by whoever brought us here.
- Run by AI? would explain a lot, but surely would be visible?
Future Action
- Test Milspecs/network/AR.
- Keep testing server in case of functionality.
- Check up on other possible locations.
- Try and find edge/outlying point to city. Investigate crumbling buildings if poss.
- Try and set up camera in supermarket?
- Keep eye on crumbling buildings. What happens when they get closer to where we live?
- investigate sea? poss. way out? dinghy?
Misc./Negative observations
Observations
- No obvious rules/demands/system atm.
- No locations except the building itself exist independently. i.e. all buildings 'blank' except those like the station, the restaurant, the bar.
- How do you gather intelligence across diff. times?
- No evidence of other people in locations. e.g. no evidence in evidence locker, skipper's Hibs mug nowhere to be seen.
Solid Evidence
- Black box recordings of everything spotted so far. If anything spotted off duty, make physical note, return for recording.
- Cameras. Only three - one in lifelog. No obvious surveillance in actual city.
- Make sure all evidence is x-compatible for others.
Possible Conclusions
- Social experiment? The provision of doctors, policemen, and 'civilians' so to speak? The lack of rules or enforcement from above? Kidnapper some crazy nutbar social science student?
- MAYBE I'M JUST GOING INSANE.
Future Action
- try to get more cameras? see if there's any in the station worth using.
- should actually talk about rules and things before things happen. now we have cells to use.
- will share cop info with Costigan.
- explore some of the 'blank' buildings if possible. See what comes of it.
- if I do snap out of it, sign up for counselling and those 'dealing with stress' seminars. Maybe medication. Who knows?
note to self: in future, keep discussion of personal mental health a long way away from notes.
