I was right. Justin and I broke up.
I have a bad track record with vday. I've never particularly cared for the concept that people should have to be reminded to do something on a specific day, something that if it's genuine shouldn't have to be 'celebrated' with Hallmark cards and roses.
I'm happy for all those who take it as just another day to express the joy and love they have with someone, however.
I'm almost glad the strike is still on. It gives me plenty to keep me busy at work, and not be at home moping. Or out on some sideways attempt at a rebound.
I hate to add it to such a blegh entry, but I really want to say congrats to my friend Dawn and her fiance, on their recent decision to get engaged and make me squee with joy for them.
Laureth, if for any reason you need a flower girl at your celebration, you let me know. I'm there.
