sick+cranky+bored=perfect consumer

Sick sick sick. My tonsils decided yesterday afternoon that they didn't quite like where they were, and were going to swell up in an attempt to evict themselves from my throat, Alien style.
I decided that I'd leave work early (only 9hrs in the office today, man I'm lame), so as to avoid the most brutal rush hour traffic.
Got home, stripped, and moved the computer to my bedroom. Watched Lost in Translation and Dig! in bed. While eating comfort food.
Didn't sleep much, it was either way too hot, or way too cold, and I kept getting fever chills.
At 7am, after 2 or so hours of I sleep, I called poor Gary at work to let him know he'd have to man the fort alone today. Hopefully it wasn't too busy.

Since I have wicked aches all over, I decided against tackling the remainder of my shelving reno today. (It's about 2/3 done, I'll post pics once it's completely finished).
So I spent most of the day on my computer.
Since Dig! had gotten me into a Dandy mood, I added a few more songs to my library (I think I'm getting pretty darn close to owning all their music..), and checked e mail, ect.

After awhile I started thinking about my computer set up once I get the rest of the shelving system up. (Computer will be moving onto it.) I figure I might as well get the wireless running now, since it will have to be once it's moved. Reset router, create new network, all is good. Wireless internet is up and running on the mac.
It is however, slow as all hell.
Fuck.

I decide to browse around online and see if I can't find an Apple Airport Base to replace the shitty D-Link I'm currently running.
Within an hour I've remembered all the things I keep reminding myself to add to my Wishlist, or To-Buy list. So, to have it down somewhere, I'm posting it here.

1. Apple Airport Extreme Base.

(I know, I pay through the nose for asthetics, but dammit I'm ok with that.)

2. Harmon Kardon Sound Sticks.

(Can you start to picture the amazingly good looking set up I'm going to have if I win the lottery?)

3. Apple Wireless Keyboard + Mighty Mouse.

4. Canon Pixma Mini260 Portable Printer.

(If I could find a cheaper printer that wasn't wireless, but was small and white like this, I'd already own it.)

5. Louis Ghost Chair by Phillipe Starck.

(So gorgeous!)

6. Samsung 26" White Bordeaux LCD Television.

(I've been steadily watching the price of this drop, I'm waiting for the right moment to pounce. That and the money to buy it.)

7. Ball Chair by Eero Aarnio.

(Who hasn't wanted one of these?)

8. FrancisFrancis! X6 Espresso Machine.

(Perfect. Small, compact, and well designed.)

I suppose I should stop there. God I'm a fiend.
Off to take some Neo-Citrin, ciao bellas!
