I finished my semester. On one of the last days of school I realized I don't like UCF. Oh, well. That's what I get for my lack of participation in high school. The way I figure it is that the kids who did the worst in high school should be accepted to most any university without hesitation. They were obviously the only ones with mind enough to refuse to be voluntarily subjected to being annoyed for 6 hours of of the day. I think that shows independence. I have a feeling that most would disagree.

I've been seriously considering moving to Holland. Not saying this year or the next. Not saying it would be before I finish college or after (because I don't know), but I'm very seriously pondering a life in Holland.

So, Modest Mouse got nomiated for a couple Grammys. Just goes to show how fucked up the Grammys are. If they really looked at the total and complete pool of artists and albums out there, none of this crap would be winning anything. Nominated for Good News and Float On... What the fuck is going on here? Why were they not nominated with Lonesome Crowded West or Long Drive? Bah! Loss of dignity for the band... the only album they've created with producer-ear-catching jingles and only then do they get nominated for a Grammy. I'd throw it out if I won.
