I've been wanting to post for awhile, but timing is a complcated thing.
I am profoundly grateful and excited about my life: where i've been, what is happening currently, and the adventures around the corner. This is my last semester taking classes st the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I was going to study abroad in India this semester, but financial difficulties prevented that. I am now glad that it worked out that way, but was upsetting the afternoon I realized I wouldn't be there in the fall. Now I am appreciative of the protection for my life and the opportunity to change certain aspects of my karma. I am working towards goimg for rhe spring semester. On my return, I will graduate witha B.A. in Anthropolgy.
Next Sunday, I am planning to have the first board of directors meeting at my house for the Sunflower Village Initiative! This is a point I have been striving towards for years - at last, the desire to contribute to the development of the kind of intentional community I would like to live in is becoming a reality. It is just the beginning, but to see it starting to grow beyond myself is highly fulfilling and encouraging.
