School is so far, so awesome. I *still* haven't been to the Sustainability Seminar because first week I had to work, and apparently this week class was canceled or something. But Indigenous Peoples & Conservation, Forests and People, and Vegetable Production are AWESOME, and making UMass much more appealing. I'm finding that I'm really missing

Obviously, I like having my piercings, that's why I got them. I would rather leave them in an not have to fuck with them. But, now that I'm looking for work again, I don't really want them to be an issue, and they shouldn't be, but people make them an issue.

I don't understand how people can just look at someone and think, "Oh, they've got four earrings, they must be trouble..." and just leave it at that. Or say, "This is a family resteraunt, so no piercings." It makes me want to say, "Yes, and I wear these around my family, too. How is this different from a girl who has earrings?"

If I had my lip ring still, or I had my eyebrow pierced, I could almost see where they'd go, "Too much," but since it's just my ears, I don't understand. Ehh...a lot of people seem to think guy's having piercings is way weird, but that guy's having tattoo's is normal, and they don't see how I could compare them.

Agree with you about tattoos and earrings being no different. Just ornamentation, possibly with some significance to the bearer. Stupid to base hiring on that.

I can call you, but you're welcome to try calling me. Weekday afternoons, some evenings are best. So after 1pm my time, which I think is about 11am or afterward your time. Weekends I seem to be working nights at the moment, so prolly not after 12 your time Saturdays and Sundays. Fridays are wicked crazy, since I've been working and schooling that day.
