Today the boys are 7 months old! That is 212 days, and 212 quarters in each of their little banks. We continue to expand the menu of solid foods. This weekend we had our first “finger foods”, we also had at the same time our first experience with food throwing.
We went out to get new car seats this weekend. We had to take Meli’s CRV, since four car seats were never going to fit into my car, We also had to take my car since the boys and the stroller were not going to fit into the CRV once it was loaded full of car seats. I wasn’t particularly excited about spending so much money, but it was becoming a necessity as the boys were quickly outgrowing their old car seats. The new seats support up to 35 pounds rear facing, 50 pounds forward facing, and then they convert into ‘booster’ seats for up to 100 pounds. After we loaded the car into Meli’s car we walked over to Peet’s for some caffeinated refreshment. The boys were in good form, huge grins for all the ladies while we waited for our coffee, and nice and mellow while we sat and enjoyed our drinks and a little sunlight.
