(no subject)
so today .. wow cant even imagine i went to church and God didnt stop talking to me there!.. oh no! so far God has been able to get to me through friends and e-mails and whatever way.. the book ive beeen reading!
God... is Awesome.. he is soo good! ahh tonight we sang one of my absolute favorite songs! OVer the mountains and the seas.. I will always sign of when your love came down I could SIng of yyour Love forever!
then matt talkd about chekcing ourselves.. is what we are letting into our minds building us up in christ or just tearing us down adn pushing us farther from the Father whos love is AMAZING and forgiving and everything!
well here is the poem that was sent to me.. the reason it hits me soo hard is because.. thats what i've been doing. ahh and i want to scold myself over and over.. but you know what guys its not ME who can heal its not ME who can forgive its deff not ME who can love at ALL times in ALl circumstances.. its only God .. ok THE POEM
I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.....
All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer
No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They'd laugh at me I'd fear.
No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.
I went before the Lord,
I came, I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God held a book;
It was the book of life.
God looked into his book and said
"Your name I cannot find.
I once was going to write it down...
But never found the time"
yea.. i hope those words brought some kind of conviction.. me and mmy friends tonight all we have been talking about is convivtion and the need to get back into God and not be like the nation who runs away at every little temptation.. He will uphold.. He will sustain you .. he will not tempt you beyond what you can bear.. and he will even give you the strengtth to endure the hardships.. one thing i read or Heather D showed me was romans 14
12Yes, each of us will have to give a personal account to God. 13So don't condemn each other anymore. Decide instead to live in such a way that you will not put an obstacle in another Christian's path.
we must build eacchother up! look to one anther for accounablity..
God gave us all friends for one reason or anther and Christian friends are deff a blessing because we know we should be able to rely on them to tell us the truth to tell us when we are in the wrong to help us through the tough tiems to help us see the LIght when we stray to far.. and for most of you who have read this far.. i pray God bless you! cause it is kind of long .. lol but God didnt send his only son into the world that only the healthy partake in HIm but so that the Unclean and the sick might be healed..
GO in peace.. and please please let your hearts be open to what the Spirit says.. only God knows the heart and can judge. I am but a mere vessle.. willing to serve
